Project Description:
Hydro Environmental was engaged by the Goulburn Broken Catchment Management Authority (GB CMA) to develop a prototype salt register and user manual to assist salt disposal administration, disposal and reporting.
The project involved the development of a prototype Salt Register to accommodate the requirements for salt disposal, administration and reporting under the Murray-Daring Basin Agreement – Schedule C. This involved consultation with The Department of Sustainability and Environment (DSE) Goulburn- Murray Water (G-MW) and the GB CMA to define the inputs necessary to meet the reporting requirements under Schedule C.
A Salt Register User Manual was produced to support the understanding and input of data into the Salt Register.
