Project Description:
Hydro Environmental was engaged by Goulburn Broken Catchment Management Authority through Goulburn-Murray Water to undertake a 5-year review of the Shepparton Catchment Strategy Sub-surface Drainage Program. Although this review builds on current knowledge it involved the focusing of outcomes rather than outputs and reporting, and rigorously justifying future actions proposed under the plan.
Hydro Environmental’s involvement included specifying and collecting the background data and studies as well as questioning many of the past assumptions.
Work specifically undertaken by Hydro Environmental included risk assessment, social assessment, baseline statistics and salt disposal needs.
